Approaching Sustainability Holisitically

From Carbon Data to Human Rights Expertise — So You Can Confidently Navigate Both

Businesses don’t struggle because they don’t care — they struggle because human rights feel complex, technical and easy to get wrong. My entire career has been built around making the complex simple, the intangible measurable, and the overwhelming actionable.

I began in environmental data science, publishing research with Imperial College London and later founding Get Ensight, a carbon analytics platform acquired by ClimatePartner. Leading a consultancy team there taught me how to translate frameworks and data into practical action for businesses of all sizes.

But I saw a major gap: organisations were racing ahead on climate while overlooking the social risks harming workers, communities and brand reputation. So I shifted into Human Rights Due Diligence full-time — leading the Business Consultancy team at Unseen UK and supporting companies like Tesco, McDonald’s and Lloyds Bank to strengthen their human rights systems.

Today, I bring that combined environmental and social expertise to help businesses treat people and planet as one integrated strategy — not two competing priorities. My work makes human rights clear, practical and operational, rooted in the UN Guiding Principles and built to withstand scrutiny from assessors, investors and the public.

If you want an approach that is rigorous, actionable and genuinely reduces risk, I’m here to make that easier.
